I was driving home from work at about 6pm. I had just pulled into my driveway and parked my car. As I got out of my car, I noticed someone trying to break into my car. I yelled at them to get away from my car. I then saw that they were holding a crowbar and started yelling at him again. He ran off and I locked my doors and called the police. When the police arrived, he was still standing outside my car. They told me to stay inside my house until they came back. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I decided to go check on what was going on. I looked out my window and saw the same guy running towards my neighbor’s house. I went outside and saw that he was now running down the street. I followed him and saw him jump over some fences and run across the street. I went back inside my house and waited for the police to return. When they did, they said that they couldn’t find him. I asked if they could look around the neighborhood and see if anyone else saw anything. They said that they would try to do that. I waited for about 30 minutes before calling my husband. We both decided to drive around the area looking for him. We drove around for about 45 minutes without seeing him. We finally stopped and called the police again. They told us that they didn’t have any information on where he might be. My husband and I decided to call his parents and let them know what happened. His father told us that he was probably hiding somewhere nearby. We drove around the neighborhood again and we eventually found him hiding under a bush. He was crying and scared. We took him home and called the police again to report him missing. The police told us that they would keep searching for him. A few hours later, they returned and told us that they had found him walking along the road. They brought him home and told us that he was fine. We thanked them and they left.
